I. Job responsibilities:

1. Conduct computational materials or data modeling work to support R&D projects in metallic materials—covering alloy composition design, process optimization, and property prediction—and provide quantitative evidence for decision-making.

2. Computational materials track: Apply thermodynamic and kinetic calculation methods (e.g., phase diagrams and phase stability, precipitation behavior, solidification segregation, elemental diffusion, phase transformation kinetics) and related process simulations to analyze how composition and processing affect microstructure and properties.

3. Data modeling track: Participate in the development of materials databases and the establishment of data standards; build predictive and inverse-design models correlating composition, processing, microstructure, and properties; and establish reproducible model validation workflows.

4. Toolize and script mature computational and modeling workflows to produce reusable tools and interfaces, facilitating their adoption across the team.

5. Collaborate with experimental, processing, and characterization personnel to calibrate and iterate models using measured data, ensuring that computational results are consistent with actual observations.

6. Draft technical reports, patent applications, and scientific papers, and participate in the preparation of research project proposals.

Note: Candidates may focus on areas aligned with their individual strengths; proficiency in all tracks is not required.

II. Job Requirements:

1. Master's degree or above. Candidates should have expertise in at least one of the following two tracks:

  • Track A (Computational Materials): Majors in Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Metallic Materials, Mechanics, Physics, or related fields; familiar with at least one category of computational methods and tools, such as CALPHAD (Thermo‑Calc, JMatPro, Pandat, DICTRA, etc.), finite element (Abaqus, COMSOL, DEFORM, etc.), phase‑field, molecular dynamics, or first‑principles (LAMMPS, VASP, etc.).

  • Track B (Data & Software): Majors in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Automation, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields; with hands‑on project experience in machine‑learning modeling, database construction, or scientific software/platform development.

2. Solid programming proficiency, with expertise in Python (or C++, MATLAB, Fortran, etc.), and experience in independently completing full‑cycle projects from data processing to final output.

3. A rigorous validation mindset, with the ability to design reasonable validation schemes to judge the reliability of computational or model results, and a strong emphasis on reproducibility.

4. Strong interest in materials R&D, willingness to gain a deep understanding of the physical background of materials, and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with materials professionals.

5. Excellent independent problem‑solving skills, strong learning ability, and a collaborative team spirit.

6. The specific research direction and work content can be mutually determined based on individual expertise and strengths.

III. Salary: RMB 150,000 - 500,000

IV. Benefits and Perks

1. A good working environment, five insurances and one fund, meal allowance, holiday benefits, etc.

2. Those who meet the criteria can enjoy the corresponding local talent policies.

V. Application method
